I was born in Alliance, Ohio on September 28th, 1979. I graduated from Marlington High School in 1998, which is a small farm school outside of Alliance. I grew up in Christian home where I went to church all of my childhood. I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart in junior high, and then my senior year recommitted my life to God, and accepted God’s calling upon my life. Then in the fall of 1998, I started at Mid-America Bible College and started training for the ministry. In the summer of 2002, I went to Beckley WV for a summer internship which ended up becoming my first full-time ministry position. On May 24th of 2003, I got married to Katie Cummings whom I met while working at Camp Marengo in Ohio.
My Philosophy of Ministry is to reach and teach students in the junior high and high school range about the love of Jesus Christ. I want to be a positive influence in their lives and help them to become aware of God’s love for them and His desire for a relationship with them through Jesus Christ. I want to help them to mature in their walks with God and also allow them to find their place in the body of Christ. I want to help hold them accountable for their decisions and help them find their spiritual gifts and put those gifts to work.
